Summary

For Ethernet machines, Rostoc usually connects in one of two ways: through the same local network/router as your computer, or with a direct Ethernet cable from the machine to the computer. The router path is usually easier; the direct cable path often needs manual IP settings on the computer.

Steps

1. If using a router/local network, connect the machine by Ethernet and connect the computer to the same network by Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
2. Find the machine IP on the machine screen, controller screen, manual, or router device list.
3. If using a direct cable, set the computer Ethernet IPv4 address manually in the same address range as the machine, with a different IP address.
4. In Rostoc, enter the machine IP, not the computer IP.
