Three plans, and a free start that is not a demo. Every new account receives 30 roasts at Growth entitlement with no time limit, so the first thing you evaluate is the full product rather than a reduced version of it. Prices below were checked against the shipped catalogue on 2026-08-25.
What You Get Before You Pay
New signups get 30 roasts at Growth entitlement. That is roast-based, not time-based: nothing expires after a week or a month, and the count only moves when you actually roast.
It matters which way round that is. A time-limited trial punishes a roastery for having a slow fortnight. A roast-limited one lets you evaluate Rostoc across however long it takes you to do 30 real roasts.

The Three Plans
Hobby is free and desktop-only: 30 batches per month, one machine, unlimited roast history, roast plans, profiles, and curve visualisation. Cloud features, browser access, and green coffee inventory are not included.
Foundation is $19 per month or $190 per year, for small commercial roasters: everything in Hobby plus 50 batches per month, browser app access, cloud backup, and data export, on one machine.
Growth is $39 per month or $390 per year, for established roasteries: everything in Foundation plus unlimited roasting, green coffee inventory, lot tracking, browser access, and unlimited machines.

Which Plan A Roastery Actually Needs
Batch volume is the honest dividing line, not feature count. Under 30 batches a month on a single machine, Hobby is the whole product for a home or test setup. Past that, the question is whether you need the roast record off the desktop machine it was made on.
Green coffee inventory is the one capability that sits behind Growth rather than being metered, because lot tracking is only useful when the whole production chain is in the same place.
