Connected But No Readings

Summary

A successful connection does not always mean temperature data appears immediately. Some machines only send readings once the machine is ready or a roast has started.

Steps

  1. Confirm whether Rostoc shows the machine as connected or failed.
  2. Confirm whether the machine is powered on and past startup.
  3. For Nucleus Link or Kaffelogic, start a short test roast before expecting temperature data.
  4. Compare Rostoc readings with the machine display or native workflow.
  5. If readings stay empty, submit a ticket with machine, OS, and screenshot.
