Does Rostoc support the Santoker Cube BT?
Rostoc lists experimental compatibility for the Santoker Cube BT via Bluetooth. This 0.1 kg drum roaster can be connected for real-time roast logging, Curve recording, and roast analysis. Confirm the setup before relying on it for production logging.
Connection setup
The Santoker Cube BT connects to Rostoc via Bluetooth.Connection: Bluetooth.
Setup steps
- Enable Bluetooth on your computer and allow Rostoc to use Bluetooth if your operating system asks.
- Power on the roaster, keep it close to the computer, and put it in pairing mode if required.
- Open Rostoc and go to Settings → Machines.
- Click + Add Machine and choose Browse Catalogue.
- Find "Santoker Cube BT" in the catalog and click Add.
- Back on the main screen, click Use for the Machine if needed, then choose it from the discovered Bluetooth devices.
- Click Connect to start logging.
Troubleshooting
- Device not found
- Ensure the roaster is in pairing mode and within range. Restart Bluetooth on your computer.
- Permission blocked
- On macOS or Windows, check that Rostoc is allowed to use Bluetooth. Remove the old pairing and pair the machine again if discovery is stale.
- Frequent disconnections
- Move closer to the roaster. Avoid interference from other Bluetooth or Wi-Fi devices.
