Phidget USB Has No COM Port

Summary

Phidget USB setups do not use a COM port in Rostoc. Rostoc talks to the Phidget USB device directly, so check the Phidgets driver or control panel instead.

Steps

  1. Connect the Phidget interface and probes by USB.
  2. Install the Phidgets OS package/driver if needed.
  3. Confirm the Phidgets Control Panel or driver can see the device.
  4. In Rostoc, choose the Phidget machine/module entry. There is no COM port to choose for Phidget USB.
  5. Check that probes are connected to the expected channels.
