Summary

After connecting a machine for the first time, run a short test roast before relying on the setup for a real roast. Check that the temperatures and labels match the machine display.

Steps

1. Start a short test roast.
2. Compare Bean Temp and Env Temp with the machine display or native workflow.
3. Check optional readings such as gas, airflow, pressure, fan, drum, or set value if the selected machine includes them.
4. Save the batch and reopen it to confirm labels and values are preserved.
5. Submit a ticket if values are missing, stuck, or clearly wrong.
